The Bible does say that our maximum life span is about 120 years.

Ka-Ching, I think we just found another error in your bible, and that Ka-Ching is the sound of organization religion breaking down one error at a time.

This way we got abstract about Original Sin. Otherwise we were the concrete self-flagilation (sort of) of our personal pro-creation in words and deeds.

Before the flood God only said that man will not live a day. This is equal to 1000 years. Methusala came the closest to this 1000 year mark.

After the flood God said that man will only live 120 years.

Psalms 90:10 Says: "The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away."

So the length of man's days is now 70 years and by reason of good health 80 years.

God has give provision to have a longer life span by reason of good health. Several verses refer to longer life by things that we can do, see:

For example Deut. 25:15 "But thou shalt have a perfect and just weight, a perfect and just measure shalt thou have: that thy days may be lengthened in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee."

Deut. 5:33 "Ye shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess."

Or from the 10 Commandments: Deut: 5:16 "Honour thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee."

Ah so god changed her mind. Thus I reject the claim of omniscience.

An afront to God because she lived to 122 years? LOL. Why can't the Bible have approximations? 120 years is damn close to 122 years and for all practical purposes is the same thing.
