It is so quiet and dark around the circle. I boosted the fire and refilled the coffee pot for everyone and hope the homemade coffee cake stays warm. I hope everyone is well and looking forward to Spring....I sure am.
Good on ya' Miss Blue. I must've dozed off. Seems like maybe I'm not the only one.
It's a beautiful night here. Mama Moon is a bit past half. Bright enough to draw eyes but not enough to dim her companion stars. Their combined light shines like diamonds against the snow and ice.
I do believe I could manage a cup of coffee and still find some sleep later.
Beautifully said Trout. I am just hoping to see some sun today as this winter has been a very wet one. No snow for us, but plenty of dark rainy and cold days that keep this outdoor person a prisoner inside.
Ya think I can rattle a few pots to call some of our circle friends to the fire?
No gloom here. It's sunny enough to hurt the eyes, bouncing off the snow and ice.

Oh wow, if I lived near you I would be hibernating right next to a big warm fireplace [or a bear) until the temp reached at least 38F. I can't imagine living in such a cold place.
It was 64 degrees in my back yard today ...CO, 6500 ft altitude....weird, right...my friends all over the upper East Coast...ugh. Bitter and into Mon, even worse...It's all Canada's fault.

It was 52 degrees here in New Jersey this morning. It's now 19 and supposed to be 10 by 7 a.m. I am < 400 miles from THAT PLACE.
