I can't disagree. The drum echoes our heartbeat and although I don't understand the words, I can ride the emotions the sounds evoke.

And I have to say that man is a master singer. The video was just perfect for it too. And I forgot all that when I was drawn in and lived it for a couple of minutes.

The drum. The only two music instruments permitted for us are the Drum and Duff

Just WOW. It is a mystery how music affects us at such a deep level. And it's beautiful. Drums and voice are the music of all humanity, I think.

Kind of amazing on how on opposites sides of the world Drums have played an important part in the music and worship.

Among my faith the Sufi seem to have used it in religion the most. particularly in Dhiker (Remembrance)

Each movement is symbolic. Typically they represent the 99 names of Allaah(swt)
