We got 10 inches a couple of days ago. Today we're being gifted with a high temperature of -25C (-13F) with a windchill of -38C (-36F).

Except for going out to feed the birds, I'm staying put today. Gonna make a nice big vat of chicken soup and hug the furnace a few times.

Our coldest temperature, recorded one week ago just before sunrise, was 36F. Today our high temp is forecast to be 80F.

I knew I should not have left the broom out on the front porch next to the outdoor thermometer..it got so cold last night the temperature went halfway down the broom handle.......
