Strong Theist. However, our specific knowledge is "seen through a glass darkly."

What if someone believes that something called "God" exists, but doesn't see God as a "he" or even as an actual person at all?

yeah, I second mighty's.

Its something between deity and deny everything so we have a better chance to stop religion. Something that rational atheist and theist would say "oh, I see why we/they thought that."

I agree with Mighty Queen too. An 'It' (with respect) and 'agnostic -god'. Only I don't Believe in it a distinct from denying that could be any such thing; a mindset foisted on atheists by atheist -bashers and one that few if any that I have encountered actually hold. And we do see why they thought that. Residual faith, perhaps or just being won over by the complexity/order argument. Yes, we see it but we see that it really is a fallacious one.

Which doesn't mean that it has to be wrong, but there is no good evidential reason to suppose it's right. It does not justify credibility, let alone Belief as a fact.

Strong Theist: I do not question the existence of God, I KNOW he exists.

I'm a weak atheist, my wife is a de-facto atheist. We get along very well.

It is what you think you know ABOUT God that is the problem, Jimmie.
