I don't see any similarities between BLM and Christianity, as this group opposes The family which God created and embraced, and then the homosexual identity and sexual diversity of male and female gender of BLM was out of sync. with the spiritual authority of Christ. Then there is the violence of the terrorist protester which goes against the ways of the Holy Spirit who confesses that Christians don't fight with flesh and blood but fight the devil through the spirit which is the only way to peace ....... So any Christian who engage in these groups would be more of a post-modern world
He appears to be talking about beliefs, not values.
People can have religious beliefs while following secular values. And Christians in the US are following a religion that adopted secular values from Greek philosophy.

Knowing the violence that is depicted in the OT pretty much negates your post.
We would have to look at what we are calling theism. Science supports the belief in something more than humans and that something looks like it may be alive. So that is commonsense and could be labeled "default" by most people.
But deity things take a little force , as we have seen, to have us all believe in them so I wouldn't call those beliefs default.
Science have no knowledge of spiritual, it studies material world.
Faith is what vast majority of human beings had/have through time and space.

if there is a spiritual world its going to follow the rules. Heck, I call neutrinos spiritual in that they interact very rarely with the "material world".

Since there is only one Reality we are aware of, its rules are controlling. The problem is our knowledge or lack thereof of what the rules are that are in play. Pragmatically speaking, I relate to Arq, and Harry, and phet, et al. when they concern themselves only with what is sufficient for operating within our Reality. Like Newton's laws, they work in our macro Reality so what they actually are is not of significant concern for those who do not delve too deeply into those ruminations. What we call mystical or spiritual seeks to delve into those deeper levels of understanding.

What "secular values" did the Christians adopt from the Greeks? Greek philosophers like Aristotle wrote about how the state should sponsor (albiet polytheist) religion.
