A very good list. The third one doesn't apply to me and I've never experienced the fourth.
When we had our dogs and cats , if I wasn't feeling good I'd go upstairs to bed and close the bedroom door. No matter where she was at the time Quest would, in less than 5 minutes give her little knock on the door and when let in crawl under the covers and snuggle until either I got up or it was supper times.
For a year or so we used to do a weekly visit to the palative care unit of the hospital as part of the pet therapy program. Some of those patients really appreciated her visiting and jumping onto their beds to give kisses and snuggles. It was fortunate for her that she was unable to understand why each of them eventually went away. She was also just to young and active for visiting people who were so inactive.
For Ukrkoz, I sensed death in this ward I never do in a cemetery. But it was worth that sense of the dying to see smiles on their faces.
