Perhaps instead of tying to control others again, you should ask yourself why there are different alleged gods.

It is a fact that people believe (and believed) in different gods, and if you find that fact is planting discord, it would suggest you are not comfortable with the fact that people invent gods.

Some try to get away with the idea that all these different gods are really the same god, but if that's true then god must have multiple personality disorder. In fact, if we get right down to it, the christian god seems to be suffering from that, as well, because the vast difference between the god of the OT and the NT seem drastically different (although christians seem to want to overlook that). And while these people claim it's the same god, they can't really worship together; instead they shut themselves up in different buildings because they don't really get along. Even within christianity this idea of having 'the same god' works so poorly that there are schisms, breakaway churches, and even lawsuits where they fight about who owns churches. Thank goodness they don't have nukes! And yet, some are trying to tell us the gods of different cultures (such as American Indian or Hindu) are the same god(s), and one of our flock here on the forum tries to tell us about the Buddhist god (and we don't even have a god). In reality, it's all based on a demand that we believe what they believe.

The problem does not reside with God, Phet. ALL the discrepancies and discord are of human origin. There is only one Reality so there is only one God. All the human definitions and descriptions are just that, HUMAN fallibilities. The nonbelievers have even tried to complicate it by pretending there are multiple (perhaps infinite) Realities. We are a perverse lot indeed, Phet.

Of course I don't believe in what I bolded, but I agree with the rest of what you wrote.

Perfect response, Mystic. Human fallibilities are infinite indeed, because ignorance is infinite. Nevertheless every human wants one thing - relief from suffering. The only way to that is through knowledge of our true self, which is Existence, Knowness, and Fullness. All religions affirm this but in their own way. Our body and mind are multiple, our Consciousness is One. The paths to this knowledge are multiple but they all lead to the one Truth. And which is all right, just the way it needs to be..

Does that include cut the heart out and throw the body down the pyramid style religions?

It certainly highlights the primitive perversity of our human fallibilities.

Everything that exist in the world, without exception, contains these three aspects. That Love is present in all that we see I think is a sublime truth.
Thank you for sharing that.

That was only part 1. There are parts 2 and 3 that complete the definition!
