modern man does not know the mysteries of life. For instance, how did life start? No one has been able to reproduce it in a lab.
As I've said before, we don't have all the answers but we have more now than we did in ancient times. We know that disease isn't caused by demons trapped inside, we know that volcanoes do not go off because a god is pissed. What were finding is not supernatural explanations.
The fundamental equation in any religion or belief system is faith in a god or higher power. My question is, who created god? We know that something can't exist from nothing, so where exactly did this "man in the sky" come from?
Despite being a very simple question, and one which I'm sure many of you have considered, I realize it's probably difficult for most believers to truly comprehend.
Because someone, at many points in the history of humankind, just picked "him" as the lead character in a storybook they started writing because it sounded good. And look at us now.
Nothing in this universe can explain its own existence (origin), yet we know that everything in the universe has an origin and must be created by something or someone else before it can exist. No "matter" could have existed infinitely prior to the creation of the universe as we know it because it would have been impossible to ever reach this point in time. It is however, completely reasonable to believe that only an omniscient, omnipotent, and eternal being (God) could have designed and built every incredibly intricate element in accordance with His own will. Everything we sense has clearly been designed and Science has yet to prove otherwise.
The historical accuracy of the ancient gospels of the Holy Bible, combined with the fulfillment of precise prophecies written centuries earlier, along with the obvious dramatic affect that a pure faith in this God has on those who follow in the footsteps of his son, Jesus Christ, makes it difficult to reasonably deny His existence. Consider those who adamantly opposed belief in God for many years (even decades) and then suddenly began following his words, even allowing themselves to be persecuted, tortured, and exterminated (put to death) for no crime except simply holding onto that faith. Consider how real Christianity spreads like wildfire when faced with serious persecution and death. Consider how people are and have been willing to sacrifice their precious lives to obtain a copy of the Holy Bible in places where belief in God is outlawed.
Maybe all of this evidence is just a delusion of their natural minds.

So, you are god? You know that these people just "picked" God as the explanation for their stories. How did you get this information? Where you there when they wrote their stories?
And what is wrong with the way we look now? Are we disfigured or something? Please explain.

And what color is the sky in YOUR universe?
All you claim as truth is merely a matter of faith. Or as some would term it, brain washing. Interpreting events after the fact and calling them exact fulfillment of prophicies just indicates post intrepretation of historical events and putting whatever spin you feel supports your position on a event.
Perhaps I should have said, "science tells us" instead. Would you deny that? If so, please share an example of something originating (existing) from absolutely nothing.
