Oh man! I had mental orgasm watching this stuff. I've been saying this [the things said in the documentary] since whenever, so much so to the point where even before the interviewees said what they had to say, I knew what they were going to say in relation to different topics. I absolutely LOVE this stuff!
I suppose the documentry makers got a bunch of eminent biblical scholars together with the sole purpose of misleading the public.
The problem is why would these world renowned academics do that? and who would be behind such a scheme? as one of the posters pointed out this film was backed by jewish money.
Maybe some of you might want to actually watch the documentary before passing judgment and realize that at points the Bible is actually supported and verified. The point I think some of you are missing is that they are not using the Bible to prove the Bible which would create all kinds of circular arguments. That would be like me using ONLY the Cinderella story to prove Cinderella was real.
Also, I mentioned Jewish funding not to raise suspicion ("Ooooh....Jews funded this so it must be some kind of conspiracy"). I posted that to point out that Jewish money went toward a program that actually discredits much of their religious history as told in the Bible.
Oh crap....I decided to watch it this afternoon and I got this... "We're sorry, but due to rights restrictions this program is only available for online viewing in the United States. You appear to be connected to the Internet from outside this area."
Millions have tried to discredit the "Bible" and failed, only to strengthen it in the process
"Reason is the greatest enemy that faith has; it never comes to the aid of spiritual things, but more frequently than not struggles against the divine Word, treating with contempt all that emanates from God." — Martin Luther, founder of Protestantism

Hey-
There is a new book out THE QUEST FOR THE LOCATION OF THE RED SEA CROSSING, (Nov. 2009, Amazon.com, ISBN-13: 978-1597552455) with a new route for the Exodus and a new crossing place of the Red Sea (Yam Suf). It is based on the belief that Josephus was right and Israel left from the west side of the Nile. All the places names have been found; (1) Succoth = Sokar (Saqqara) (2) Etham = Atium. (3) Migdol = Great Pyramid. (4) Ball-zephon = Sphinx. (5) Pi-hahiroth = Pē hah-khēroth (pronunciation of Strong’s) Kheraha, Pi-Khiroti. (6) The Sea = Flooded Delta from the seventh plague (Exodus 9:24).
The book has more and better reasons than the other seven routes.
If the Exodus did not happen, why are they finding the remains of the Egyptian army beneath the Red sea? And who put up those 18 foot granite pilliars to mark it's loaction?
Why do you keep trotting out this garbage? Ron Wyatt has been proven a fraud so many times that even AiG disown his claims but still you persist Campbell. Why?
