You are referring to her "spirit guide" which I can't think of her name right now.

I highly doubt there is a "spirit guide". She's just delusional.

Whether she is or isn't she needs to read Deut 18:10-12

In all honesty (and with great respect) I find myself unable to proceed without asking the following question:
What value would she get from that passage?
If she's not Christian, the words will hold no meaning for her. If she is Christian, she's likely already read those words and reconciled her faith with her chosen 'profession'.
You see, quoting the Bible to someone that isn't a Christian is like reading Chaucer to someone who hasn't any knowledge of that period's culture: it's not going to make a lot of sense, because they won't know what you're trying to tell them.

I think she has opened her mind and she truly thinks she is doing something for good because she mentions God alot, but I think in reality it is evil taking the form of good. Just my take.

I believe PG is 100% right on the money. A lot of these mediums and physics DO know stuff from "the other side", but the source of thier powers is demonic. They often think it is some departed/dead person giving them information, when in fact it is a demon...a "familiar spirit", as the Bible calls it. Sylvia is, unfortunately, decieving a lot of people along with herself...IMO.

None of them have powers or a connection with some spirit. There is nothing magical about psychics at all. Hell, I could give anybody a psychic reading and be right on the money because I know the techniques they use.

truth doesn't care if someone understands it, it stands.
if she is christian, she's likely already read those words and reconciled her faith with her chosen 'profession'.if she's christian and "reconciled" such a black and white outlook from god, then she is a fool.
you see, quoting the bible to someone that isn't a christian is like reading chaucer to someone who hasn't any knowledge of that period's culture: It's not going to make a lot of sense, because they won't know what you're trying to tell them. once again, it's pretty black and white, if she can't understand god saying "what you're doing is wrong" then she's a sad soul indeed.
