What is your basis as to how mankind was/has developed on earth....

If you could explain your theory (or the theory to which you subscribe) in some detail that would be helpful.

I am just curious as to what everyone thinks out there....if you don't want to answer my questions please don't try to harrass the thread.

Landshark was a Saturday Night Live skit in the 70's (first year, I think) in which a woman was sitting on her couch and someone came to the door. She asked "Who's there" and the voice behind the door replies somewhat unintelligibly. She responds "Who is it?" The voice says "Plumber". She gets this strange look on her face and says "Plumber?! I didn't ask for a plumber." The voice then says "Telegram". She replies "Oh, telegram? Just a moment." She then opens the door and she's eaten by a guy dressed in a gaudy looking shark outfit.

Keep in mind this was right after Jaws came out.

The point being is that you opened a thread several minutes ago asking for proof of human origins and when I refuted you on it, you opened a new thread asking the same question but a different way. It just felt like the old "Landshark" tactic. That's all. I was just trying to lighten the mood but I forgot you have limited access... Check on "Morale Web". They might have it.

Edit: As far as how I feel humans came about. Evolution.

Mankind was not developed. We were just created by God!

Yeah, I realized the previous post wasn't phrased correctly or something, it wasn't that you refuted me on it, but I am looking for peopels thoughts. I have heard evolution, aliens, etc...just curious what people who are otehr types of believers, hindus, buddhists, all types of religious and non-religious peopel think we came to exist.

Not intended to flame, just askig a question.

Land shark sounds funny...unfortunately we don't have those types of old videos in our morale drive...if we did I woudl sit and watch the three stooges non-stop all day...

If you want to know how God did it, well it's all in the bible.

God takes dust of the earth, forms it into man, breathes into his nostrils and man becomes a living soul.

Eve was take out of Adam's side. Everyone else comes from...well, you can figure that out yourself.

OK, forgive me for jumping the gun a little bit on you, balad. In all honesty, and as anyone on this forum can tell you, I have hashed out and hashed out the evolution vs. creationism thing probably more than anyone else on here and I guess you could say I'm just burnt out on it. I've been trying hard to stay out of it because I just don't have the same amount of time as I did before to put forth effective arguments that take me hours to research. So, if I seemed a little hesitant and a little uppity it was because I smelled another "Origins" thread firing up when there are probably close to a hundred of them on this forum alone.

Landshark was a real classic. It's too bad you guys don't have those clips on there... Heck, the morale web was like two terabytes when I was over there, I figured by now they'd have every single video and song known to man at this point. Band of Brothers is on there and is fantastic if you haven't seen it. House was also on there as well as 24 and countless others. I used to download an episode a day on my memory stick and put them on my laptop in my room. Then, by the end of the week, I had an entire season of a TV show to watch on my day off. That along with reading a book helps keep one's sanity.

Evolution into homo sapiens sapiens followed by lots of migration

The recent single-origin hypothesis used a study carried out on mitochondrial DNA in the 80's to put it like this:

With humans first showing up in Africa about 200,000-100,000 years ago.
