Fundamentally, LeavingFlorida and Alpha have said the same thing: it is not for us to judge!

Then your answer should be, "It's God's decision, not mine". You should have no opinion because you do not know. Forming an opinion based upon imperfect knowledge is dangerous.
We can only go by what the Bible says. God is obviously the judge. Again, we are just answering the posters questions based on our information, the Bible. nuff said. Nobody is judging anyone. LeavingFlorida, I want everyone to go to Heaven!

DREAMEYES: You state in your opinion a person can not be gay and a Christian. I am assuming you claim to be a Christian and must say that if you are, that's really not anything you should even voice your opinion on. One God, One Judge...and it ain't you and it ain't me. I don't want to go into a ton of details or scripture, but would your response be different if this thread were "Can you be a liar and be a Christian?" or "Can you be a glutton and be a Christian?" or "Can you be an addict (meth, sex, caffeine) and be a Christian?" Remember, the only folks that Jesus railed against in Scripture were the folks that thought they were the holiest.
Really? I thought it was a right in this country to be able to voice one's opinion? A person can claim to be whatever they want but whether they truly are or not is another question. I said IMO I don't believe a person can be gay and a true Christian.
And I would hardly compare homosexuality to lying, gluttony or drugs. But yes if you continue knowingly to do these things you are not being a true Christian. I know people lie all the time but as for me I do not go around doing it on purpose and whether you believe or not rarely ever lie.

I could go on. I can poke holes in your facade all day long.
Facade!? Give me a break. I am entitled to my opinions thank you as is everyone else. Of course I have taken something that was not mine when I was two and I gave it back. I don't make a habit of taking things that don't belong to me. If you are an adulterer or a thief and continue in the act then no I don't belive you are really Christian. The difference with homosexuality and other sins is that if you commit a sin like adultery then you can be forgiven through repentance likewise if you have a homosexual encounter BUT most homosexuals continue in their lifestyle and don't attemp to repent.

Jesus said, there was joy in heaven over one sinner who repents.

They dont repent because they are born that way and dont see it as a sin, it isnt a choice they make, it was made for them. Now I see itmore as a sin, if someone just has homosexual encounters and gets paid for it, but are not gay. Like porn stars and prostitutes.

While those who have posted here follow the word, not all Christians do, and would not agree that a homosexual can't be Christian. In fact, there are churches that are totally homosexual; pastors that are homosexual, and churches that speak directly to the conflict between Christianity and homosexuality.

Yes many people who claim to be Christian do not follow the Word of God. How can they really be Christian then? Jesus Christ is the Son of God. How can you believe in one and not the other? That doesn't jive with me.

Sorry, dream. Didn't mean to get you upset. Also, I didn't say that you didn't have the right to your opinion or to even to voice your opinion, what I said was that AS A CHRISTIAN our opinions don't matter. God's does. And when we're addressing non-believers, our thoughts and HIS thoughts should line up. Again, speak all you want. The tongue (or here keyboard) is a powerful thing. Many warning to US about that as well.

You said it. . they don't repent. . . The Bible says they were infact NOT "born this way" and if they refuse to accept God's word then how can they be Christians?

It is a matter of interpretation, dreameyes. Some interpret the word, others interpret the intent.
