I am Pagan/Wiccan.
I was raised southern baptist but got over that in my adult years. I do not like any kind of organized religion but if it is someone else's thing, so be it.

Frozen Chosen, baby!

This forum is exceptionally atheist and, I would surmise, liberal. I wonder why....

I was raised Lutheran, but I don't really resonate with any organized religions

I'm an Everything-ian...If it's positive, loving, and brings love to the world, then, I believe in it

I marked other, because I am part of all except agnostic or athiest. Every religion has something I believe in . I consider us all christians and belong to THE CHURCH as described in the bible. It makes no difference to me if we have dfferent opinions on baptism, communion, tithing, the trinity or whether to attend services on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. As long as we all believe in Him,and worship only Him and believe in a hereafter, we are all members of one Church and shall all worship God forever with one voice.

Save for Jews, Mormons and atheists/agnostics (not a religion at all) the "religions" you list are actually Christian denominations.

I'm an atheist and I can't say that I ever found any religion to be realistic or believeable. I do believe in freedom of religion though, I think everyone has a right to follow their own convictions. I do happen to think that virtually everyone who is religious chooses their religion because of the influences of where they're from as opposed to someone considering a particular religion based on it's merits. That tells me that people don't really think for themselves when it comes to religious beliefs. A person growing up in America will typically be Christian and a person growing up in an Arab nation will almost always be muslim. That makes no sense to me. If I was ever drawn to religion I'd want to choose a religion that was actually based on reality.

Regards,
I think the top three growers are Mormonism, Paganism, and Islam.

Why?

Well, Mormons and Muslims offer a spiritually rigorous faith in this post-modern culture of our's. Paganism has become a serious alternative for those who would otherwise go atheist.

For the record, I find this trend disturbing.

The denomination I currently attend is Methodist, but my background is pentecostal and I would most accurately define myself as a follower of Jesus Christ - hoping to follow His example of love and compassion. However, I'm still human and too often fall far short of my goal. I'm thankful He is a loving and compassionate friend and doesn't expect my perfection. His perfection was good enough for all.
