I started talking to the dead one day during my 65-mile, one-way commute from Harpers Ferry, West Virginia to Washington, D.C., where I worked as a news reporter for a trade publication.
As I took the back roads though West Virgina and Virginia to avoid the gridlock of the major highways, I began to notice the number of small and medium cemeteries that dotted my lonesome and tedious trip.
Link to rest.
