is it possible for a christian to be married to a muslim and lead a happy life if they both have strong beliefs in their religion? something that started off as a friendship turned into love. how can they raise a family together?
I'd think one factor is how fundamental their beliefs are, and maybe another is if they are willing to somehow ignore it.. I'm sure it really depends on the two individuals.

I would recommend that the Christian understand the reality of Islam and strongly advise that they not follow through with any covenant relationship between such opposing religious beliefs. At the very least, I would encourage them to view this video before moving ahead.
I agree with Skyliner. The cute saying about opposites attract just doesn't work here. If both are serious and devoted to their religion there will be too many conflicts, especially if children come into the picture. Dating and marriage are like comparing going on vacation to an area and living in that area. People love to visit Florida, but many residents can't wait to leave after spending enough time there. The decision to marry such an opposite in terms of personal beliefs will come into play with your money, your entertainment, your mutual friends, your goals and so much more. Who will you pray to before eating dinner? Or will you take turns, not pray at all or both pray silently? Good luck whatever you decide.

Hello friend, if you'd permit me to put a kindred question mark behind your nick, and continue in that spirit, then who would have a right to put this in question? No fooling around here!!

I suppose it's possible. The Quran does not prohibit a Muslim man from marrying a non-Muslim woman (as long as she's from among the People of the Book, and not Hindu or Pagan or anyone else they consider idolatrous). The Christian Biible has that "do not be ye unequally yoked" thing, though.
Muslimahs are not permitted to marry even Christian or Jewish men.
Religious prohibitions aside, it's bloody difficult to be in an interfaith marriage. I'm on year 12 of mine, and don't expect to end it, but it's been an issue from time to time. You have to really keep an open mind, and not take sides when the kids balk at being raised in whatever.
It tends to cause big problems when children enter the picture. Some people make it work but it does tend to be a point of contention if both sides are devout.
