I'm assuming you believe the Bible. So why don't you don't believe the Koran or other "holy" writs? Is it the time line, information or the humility required to believe it?

The bible is an argument from authority, just like every other work of fiction written by 'prophets.' There is no evidence that proves the bible to be true and it's immune to disproof.

Bible contradicts itself, bible was change overtime and even today we are changing it, evidence of the early church is shady, similarities to mystery religions and other mythology, similarities to previous philosophers, treatment of woman and other issues reflected the culture at that time.

Here is just one example how philosophy found it's way into the Bible. Here is the meaning behind the little fishy decal (ICTHYS as many Greeks call it) many have on their car. In Pythagorean philosophy (See Vesica Piscis) the number 153 was a sacred number. This number is part of the mathematical ratio of this symbol. This symbol is composed of two circles represent spirit and matter. The intersection is your fishy decal, or the unification of spirit and matter. The number of fish caught in the Jesus fish story is 153 (John 21:11). The concept of the fish story should now make sense - it's not a literal story. The chances of all this being a coincidence are slim. Pythagoras was born around 500 BC. By the way, 666 is also a Pythagorean concept.

Because the bible is scientifically inaccurate, and is morally offensive.
