just curious. why are people attempting to have a rational discussion with someone who questions why a round planet appears to be flat and thinks that electricity was "invented"?
That it's a long skinny cylinder made of wood? So... is this the depth to which you evaluate the world around you?
Your lack of comprehension is astounding. Tell yah what though: I'm going to help you this one time. You should watch the documentary: Black Sky: The Race for Space.
Short form: guy walks out on the FLAT runway at Edwards AFB in the California desert. Get's into advanced space plane designed by the genius Burt Rutan (I've met him and he's way smarter than you or I). Space plane takes off, shoots straight up on rocket power, takes picture of curvature of the Earth, lands and pilot talks about it.
BTW, at this site, even you might just notice something about the distant curvature of the planet Earth. Why... for heavens' sake, huh? So... feel better now? I mean, with some actual knowledge in your helpless head?

LEARN TO READ. did i say round planet appears to be flat ?!!! omg. and for 1 poster i distinctly remember that question no. 5 on my SCIENCE exam on 5th grade reads " who INVENTED electricity?" or are you gonna change AGAIN an old information taught in classes? gosh. you people make me laugh.
again this image:
has been in my 5th grade science book and that is how i REALLY thought human came to be(that's one hell of shape shifting action don't u think?). darwin's evolution is taught on my catholic school as such with images like that so i believed it. it was only later on that i realized it is a fable. to ME.

i won't even attempt to get into the discussion about a person inventing natural phenomena (if your 5th grade science exam did state this it may explain a lot) but as for the planet issue:
"well then where is the freaking video of that evolution? if i see one, then i am sold. why don't science make a documentary of their observed evolution if it is indeed occuring. i badly want to see that. has science explained why we walk on flat surface but the earth is round? does that fact not boggle you? coz i am seriously boggled..."

i watched the first link. that's the very kind of vid i want to see. thanks. i fell asleep, but at least i don't see evolution of man like i was taught in my elementary years anymore. as for the 2nd link, i can't stand to watch an elaborate hoax. isn't it there is a debate thread here about "lucy" being a hoax? before i get attacked again, i know the one they discovered is not "lucy" but they also talk about "lucy". and for me, it is just same hoax story diff "ape".
simply put... still, natural phenomena or not, we still need to recognize ben franklin et al. if not for them we will not enjoy the benefit of the " natural phenomena " with just a flick of a switch. happy smart ass? what a shame this natural phenomena was not invented, errr, discovered by lucy and her gang.
