If there is a thinking, interracting, interested God watching over the world (I am unsure), I wonder if He is at all involved with reading these forums? If so, He must have great amounts of mixed emotions...happiness, sadness, frustration, anger, hope, joy...I mean, there are so many ideas and opinions posted here regarding Him.
One would think this would be a perfect "forum" for Him to work on people's faith, or lack of it. I don't need "proof" of His existence, I feel there is a creator or a source of life and the Universe in some energy form...but I do need "proof" of Christianity but it makes absolutely no logical sense at all. Seems to me this forum might be a good place for God to work on my logical mind...if He so chose.
Well, first of all, God wouldn't need to read our trivial writings because He knows what is in our hearts and minds.
I'd say that Satan is more involved in all things internet, although God is well aware of what is going on.
There are Christians here BECAUSE of being led by God to be here, so God IS doing His work here through us.
Satan is the prince of the air and this world, but we know Who wins in the end. There is no way to understand Christianity without Christ, you should be focused on getting to know Jesus Christ and accepting Him as your Lord and Savior and then the understanding will come.
Prayers are not trivial, and we pray because God tells us to pray without ceasing in the Bible.
Okay, if that's the case then...why do so many Christians get upset that Muslims are supposed to pray five times a day, and get annoyed that many schools make accommodations for that? If ya'll as Christians are supposed to pray unceasingly, it would seem you'd recognize that other religions want to do some of the same thing...

Reason: typo
So you're not praying then, you're meditating. Better watch out, you'll get converted to some heathen Eastern religion.
Prayer and meditation are interchangeable, both words are used in the scriptures.
I don't think of the middle eastern or any religion as heathen... they all recognize God. The words and culture are just different.
godspeed,
freedom
