Well it was disturbing to me because what I saw wasn't pleasant at all, I was freaked out and woke up in a sweat, and as for me being positive that this was a revelation for me, I can't really word it but all I can say is that all the questions and doubts that I've had mind were all answered. If you're in tune with your spirituality then you'll understand where I'm coming from.

I've had a similar experience being suddenly filled with peace and trust after being tormented with doubts about being able to "finish the race".
Satan tormented me for weeks, until I cried out to God for some sort of assurance.
It came instantly and hasn't left me for 25 years.
As for dreams... No I just have regular dreams, but there are indeed people who receive dreams.
It's one of the ways God reveals things and sometimes accompanies knowing that you know something.
A big lightbulb!!!

It was your brain trying to make sense of everyday situations and whatever is on your mind. That's what dreams are.
This nightmare was probably the picture that your mind painted from various churches and the bible or whatever you've encountered that tries to frighten people into believing.

You assume that fear is a bad thing, yet often fear is the one thing that often keeps us safe. And loving parents often instill fear in their child to keep them from runnning out into the street. And I believe that God sometimes instills that fear in us to keep us safe as well.

Every thought and question that I've ever in my mind about my faith and salvation, from whether God exists to whether heaven and hell even exists, were answered. For the past few months I just found myself questioning everything and slowly distancing myself God and last night my eyes were opened.
Has anyone ever experienced anything like this??

Yes. Mine came in the form of visions when I was awake, but I have had some very nice and also some very disturbing dreams too. I shared what I saw in the thread below, and if you read the thread you will see that the responses you are getting are nice compared to the ones I got. I like what you said in your last post....

Judgment on America....My Visions
If you felt led to share, then you should have. It doesn't matter what anyone says. Only God.

Consider this (believers and unbeliever alike). What if you were suddenly enabled to observe the misery of all mankind at once. Every broken heart. Every lonely person, every fear, the anguish of every slave (there are millions of them - see thread: Do we want to abolish Slavery or Not?)
every abused child, every elderly person abandoned in a nursing home. What would that be like?
I can't say whether this was just a horrible dream, and obviously KMG1 felt it was more. The concept of "I saw hell on earth" is no myth though folks - it is known reality. Now if He said "I saw an eternal afterlife hell" THEN I would really question if some bad food (or forbidden substance) or bad theology was involved

Well the first noble truth in Buddhism is that life can suck. It is up to us to reduce all this suffering as much as we can.

Exactly, and sometimes a universal 'vision' of suffering can be a wake up call. I have known very empathetic people who have these experiences. Yes, it's disturbing and painful but it goes with the calling.
A good leader should have that quality as well. If you can literally see and feel the impact that your decision will have on hundreds (or millions) you will make a more humane decision, or at least a more informed decision.

Firstborn888 you're the first person who really understands what I'm saying. You've given me much more insight on this, thank you.
