The filmmaker of "The Tomb of Jesus" made a very compelling case. At this point I am almost convinced that the Gospels are historically accurate, after years of being skeptical of Jesus' existence. However, the evidence in the show disputes the spiritual aspect of the Gospels, providing compelling evidence that Jesus' body decomposed here on Earth and never ascended into Heaven, as some passages in the NT suggest. The plot thickens.
You are right, the show made my jaw drop. It was very convincing. they had evidence and experts that were not heard from in the days preceeding the show.

Maybe this will explain!!
Evolutionists declare that no man ever lived alongside dinosaurs. The Bible, however, makes it plain that dinosaurs and people must have lived together. Actually, as we will soon see, there is a lot of evidence for this.

I am sorry but I do not believe the earth is only 6000 years old. There is just to much evidence against that
Early Christians and the authors of the bible who were allegedly "inspired" by God believed that earth was flat. Needless to say, modern science knows better.
Call it a hunch but I'd put my money on science and say the earth is a little older than 6000 yrs old.

This is were the Believer and the non-Believer part!! I'm not just directing this at you PHM, I know where you stand and I respect your decision. So we all can continue trying to show the side of the New Testament or continue defending that science doesn't know the answer.
Pretty much comes down to you either believe in the resurrection of Jesus which, will make you a Christian or you believe he had a family and died an earthly death the choice is up to you to decide and when we DIE we will all know the TRUTH!!!

The question is: What does the evidence show? So far, the only evidence I have seen is that Jesus' body likely decomposed in that tomb, and did not resurrect. I would like to see the opposing evidence.

So far scientists have not found a way to determine the exact age of the Earth directly from Earth rocks because Earth's oldest rocks have been recycled and destroyed by the process of plate tectonics. If there are any of Earth's primordial rocks left in their original state, they have not yet been found. Nevertheless, scientists have been able to determine the probable age of the Solar System and to calculate an age for the Earth by assuming that the Earth and the rest of the solid bodies in the Solar System formed at the same time and are, therefore, of the same age.
So, by ASSUMING that the Earth and solid bodies of the Solar System formed at the same time??? They know the age of the earth. They do state they don't know the exact age!! Just science working againist God's work!!!
Like the previous poster has said, to think that the earth is only 6000 years old would be wrong. All of science would have to be wrong, and there is just to much information supporting the science. The last two stated that the dinosaurs lived 100,s of millions of years ago. Carbon dating would have to be wrong, all of science would have to be wrong. Dont buy it. And to go off the belief of what some editors put together in the bible, when I now know the purpously left some things out (evidence proves) cant go on what the Bible says about the age. I think their timeline is off. Do you know how much we know would have to be wrong in order for the 6000 year theory to be true? They even found a new city which carbon dates to 9500 BC.

You are right. It also proved that people left things out of the bible, thats what got me, how much more was left out????
