In an effort to bring a little cheer to the Holiday Season I'm posting a link to an article I was just reading that includes a map of the lower 48 states with color coded areas that reveal where people are most likely to die from natural disasters and either go on to meet their Maker or simply be dead, depending on your point of view.
As you can see, the shades of red and blue create a festive appearance with Christmas just around the corner and the red areas identify those places where you're most likely to be swept away in a flood, frozen to death in a blizzard, die of a heat stroke, etc. Enjoy!
I didn't realize that's where you are located. I lived in the Phoenix area until a year ago when I moved back here. Of course my thread is more for amusement than anything else but I remember how many illegal aliens died in the deserts in Arizona every year during the hot season and it really is a trajedy.

I seem to hear about lots of elderly people and tourists who die of heat exhaustion in/around Tucson every couple of years...
