The "how" is not what I am interestd in - I probably will not understand it anyway since I do not have a medical degree. The "why" is what I asked for as that really interested me - so, please, can you enlighten me? Thank you for moving the discussion along! (Note to self: use more emoticons)

Jesus said, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father." (John 14:12)
Jesus is giving man some final signs, good and bad, to confirm His Divinity before all out judgment of this world, just as we read about in the Book of Revelation. Sin will be dealt with.

I would really like to have seen some sort of evidence of this miracle. You really shouldn't make such a claim based on something that you heard. I'm sure that you and whoever you heard it from would love it to be true. But without really knowing the nature of the illness (somebody already said it can go into remission) you really appear to be clutching at straws and you do no favours to your cause. I think though that even if you did have some kind of evidence the skeptic would still not believe it anyway. This is the kind of thing that people need to see or experience for themselves and I have yet to see or experience any incident that would make me believe it to be a true miracle.
Faith healing is one of my pet peeves because it gives false hope which can be really cruel to someone who is seriously ill.

I heard from a friend of a friend who heard from their second cousin's best friend's elderly aunty's podiatrist, of a woman who prayed to Zeus to be cured of her toejam. It worked! It's a miracle!
Nah just kidding. She still has her toejam.

It came straight from the person who received this Jesus miracle; and, this is just one of many that people are receiving.
While there are many frauds out there, just as Jesus said there would be, His work is still alive and well amongst His true believers.

Scgraham, I asked you for evidence of this miracle, and you were kind enough to email me with a link to Ernest Angley Ministries. I went to the site and I took some time to look around, and I didn't find any evidence of any miracles at all. There were lots of testimonials, which are not evidence. I could not find anything at all about the young lady with MS. I did find that most of the links take you to pages trying to sell books, or asking for donations.
I googled Ernest Angley, and he is a pentacostal minister who has a TV show and a worldwide ministry that brings in a lot of money which is then used to spread the gospel. He claims that prayer will cure illness. Scientific studies have shown that this is not true. You can google "does prayer work" and there are many reputable links to choose from. There are also threads on this forum about the subject.

So, you looked around a little, kicked the tires, read some biased internet reviews and then formed a conclusion? The fact that you, or your source, called him a Pentecostal preacher proves that it is inaccurate information. He is non-denominational.
A sincere person, and that is who I am seeking to reach, would certainly perform more due diligence than that.

Here is another testimonial...
I was raised in the Ernest Angley ministries for about 12 years and I am now [personal detail deleted (in my mid 20s)]. My life has been a total wreck because of that man. My family moved us across the country when I was a child to go to his church. Growing up was like being in a prison. There are so many rules you have to follow or you will burn in hell.
Here are a few examples of what we were not allowed to do: no books other than the bible, no music unless it is produced by the church, no dating outside of the church. There are 18 year old girls marrying 40 year old men because “God” said to do it. Ernest Angley will tell you if that person is meant for you to marry, and if he says no and you marry him anyway you are out of God’s will. They believe that he is the only “true” servant of god on earth and everyone who doesn’t believe they way they do is going to hell. We were only allowed to watch rated G movies, nothing with cursing or sex or magic.
You are required to give 10% of your earnings whether you have it or not. People will not pay their bills because they have to give tithes and offerings. He will ask for certain amounts of money even up to $50,000.00 USD and people will walk down and hand it to him. There are so many crazy things that go on it would take too long to explain. But what hurts the most is your very own family will turn their back on you because you don’t believe the way they want you to. I was married for [personal detail deleted] years had [personal detail deleted] children and lost it all. They are so wrapped up and scared to death of failing god and Ernest Angley that they will destroy so many lives just to save one soul.
You might think that there is more to my story and there is much more, but let me tell you this: I am not the only person this has happened to. Several people have lost their families and been thrown out of the church all because one man said they were devil possessed. This church is no different than any other cult, but somehow he gets away with it. Someone needs to put an end to all this. Who is to say who is right with God or not. If I could shout it from the top of the world I would: Ernest Angley is destroying lives and getting away with it.

Oh goodie!
ANOTHER miracle cure for MS.
What with all the people cured by the bee sting therapy and the complete recovery of that poor girl electrocuted in the bath I bet there'll be thousands of MS suffers world wide who'll now be queuing for Jesus to heal them too!
I'd love to see MRI evidence that this girl's scars (sclerosis) are completely gone and if Jesus could please explain why he bothered blighting all these people with it in the first place and just HOW it works I'm quite sure there's a lot of doctors and neurologists that would love to hear how they've been getting it wrong all along.
Now if he could please help out those poor sods with motor neurone, lupus, cancer, muscular distrophy, epilepsy, bi-polar and all the other crappy diseases that people suffer with every day you might actually get a conversion from me. Or is Jesus still busy playing puppet master and being selective and obscure?

Scgraham, this is my third request asking you for some evidence of this girl being cured of MS. The website you sent me to gave no evidence, and I believe my description of the website to be accurate. I did not make anything up. I did not read anything about him other than what was listed from his own website. I followed your wikipedia link and it says the same things I said. I do sincerely want to hear about this miracle. All you are doing is ignoring my question. Who is this girl? What proof is there that she was cured? If she was cured, what proof is there that prayer did it? Here is your opportunity to show me evidence of god's existence through the power of prayer and convert me. I am sincere. I would love to believe that there is everlasting life and that people get what they deserve, and that somebody up there loves me.
