I am Messianic Jew (Jews for Jesus) and live in nice Tel Aviv in Israel.

There is 1 million of us fully Jewish brothers and sisters who live in Israel and accepted Christ as our savior and messiah.
Nobody came to convert us, but we all Jewish people must insane that Jesus is the messiah.

Messianic, I'd be curious of two things:

1. How did you come up with the "fact" that there are a million messianic jews living in Israel?

2. So what is your story? Did you grow up Jewish (I mean the real kind). And if so, were you ever taught Torah as a child? There's no way for any of us to judge the validity of any of your statements without better understanding your background and how you came to believe in the Jesus stuff.

I don't hate you. But you are not part of Rabbinic Judaism. When you call yourself a follower of Yeshua you are part of Christianity.

I have seen first hand how messianic Jews and Jews for Jesus operate. You target Jews. You target Jews in the most underhanded way.

We have had them show up at my shul because they want to take Hebrew then they hand out pamphlets in the parking lot.

We have had these pamphlets left in our restrooms, and on our cars.

I have gone to Jewish functions and seen Jews for Jesus trying to hand out pamphlets.

If you want to believe as you do then that is fine, but leave us alone.

Call your self a Christian and be a part of the faith you have joined and leave Jews to be a part of their faith tradition.

But you are not part of Judaism, you are part of Christianity.

The concept of a Messianic Jew makes no sense. The 2 faiths cancel each other out. If you are following Christ why eat Kosher, Jesus(as) did away with the dietary restrictions. Why go to a non-Christian Synagogue when you should be going to a Christian church. If you consider yourself still Jewish, why commit idolatry. You can not follow both paths. A person walking on two streets either gets lost or run over by the traffic.

I'm just speaking as an observer as I am neither Jew nor Christian.

Under Jewish Law, when Gentiles were allowed to become Christians without first becoming Jews, they were not bound by the 613 Mitzvot (Coomandments), which require Kashrut, and they remained only bound by the 7 Noahic Commandments, which do not require Kashrut.

Perhaps it could have have been said better.

My intent was to show a person can not follow both Christianity and Judaism. It is ridiculous to follow one, and try to live by the practices of the other.

It is an idiotic concept. To carry it to extreme will we next have Messianic Muslim-Jews worshiping Jesus(as) in a Mosque while reading the Torah? Who on earth would get to be the RabbiImamPriest? A man can not follow two religions without disobeying both.
