Thin-skinned, that is. Do you have any forbidden topics when it comes to religion?

I don't have any forbidden topics when it comes to religious matters; I don't feel attacked no matter how different you are from me. Because, to me, there is nothing personal about it.

No forbidden topics here either. If you strongly believe/don't believe something, then nothing will shake it up. If you are somewhat on a shaky ground, then may be you get easily persuaded, can't make up your mind, don't' know what to believe/disbelieve, so some topics become very sensitive to you, and you'd rather avoid them all together.

There are quite of lot of people in the middle ground of believing/non-believing. Most of them are religious people baffled by the non-senses: "don't answer the prayer", "what act is sin", ...

That's why there is an "ignore" feature.

Righteous indignation is always a matter of debate... if that's what you mean by being "thin skinned".

For me ... the template of a Christian walk is reveled by hating the sin and loving the sinner. How well do I do that? I am consistantly, inconsistant.

Well No Not Really
I understand that whatever I say can and will be used against me at a later time by someone who believes different, but America would suck if everyone had to be exactly the same.

After reading literally thousands of posts on this forum I'd be willing to bet that the topic that gets people riled up the fastest is the abortion issue and gay rights isn't far behind. Personally there's no topic off limits for me, I'll discuss and debate anything, but I know there are people who feel so emotional about abortion that they avoid discussing it altogether.

I'll respond to any topic that I feel I can comment upon. However, when it becomes clear that no one is interested in my opinion and/or it ends up I beat my head against a brick wall, then I'll exit a discussion. Why "talk" when no one is "listening"?
