Default Gnosis. From fame to fool.

Gnosis. From fame to fool.
I was a rather famous non believer. One who could, with logic and debate, have believers just run away from me because I could tie them up in mental knots while destroying their core beliefs.
This aptitude of mine was an expression of my search for truth.
While doing this, I would of course learn to get even better at the analysis of scripture and life. As a good debater against God, I of course learned the best argument to also support the idea of a living God. I learned both from believers and non believers and after a time, some nagging questions came up that gave me pause for reflection in favor of the proposition. Questions that I had a hard time refuting even to myself.
You might say that I talked myself into believing, from what I saw, that there was a God. I had no more proof than any other believer but recognized that if I was right, there had to be a God. Not the miracle working super God that most Christians believers looked for but something else. A God that did not act like a super God but one that was alive and well and on rare occasion interacted mentally with man.
Because of who I was and my famous reputation and image, I could not come out so to speak without proof because an unproven theory was what I had fought very hard to squelch in others.
There came a time for me, with my grand, unproven theory to challenge God, yes challenge is the right word, to either show Himself or I would have to shelve my views because there was no way that I would believe fully without proof. Show or go. It was time.
He showed and on that day I went from non believing fame to a believing fool.
I was -saved- and at the same time recognized that none of us are never lost to God. Not the usual religious view but then again, my view was not aimed towards social manipulation and control. The aim of Constantine’s Bible.
At the time, I was not aware of what true Gnosticism was because even this creed had been polluted by mysticism and a stretching of truth. Only later did I realize why this excellent Gnostic creed had allowed itself to do so. It, like all religions of the day was trying to grow and spread because of the attacks from Orthodox Christianity. For survival, it took on the name of Christian Gnosticism since the Christian Orthodoxy had created a Bible that had consolidated the beliefs of most of the known religions if the day, used it as a platform for Gnosis.
A good idea as even in my case, the KJ Bible helped to lead me to Gnosis and God.
All Bible have merit and value in the sense that all thinking, in religious and moral terms will eventually lead the seeker to Gnosis and in some cases to a personal contact with the Godhead.
So my fight continues, not only with Christians who are not understanding their Bible properly and now from what I have seen, with Gnostics who are looking at mysticisms as the road to Gnosis.
It is logic and imagination that leads to Gnosis my friends. Place your faith in the knowledge that God does not use miracles and strange talking snakes and ten headed monsters to show His philosophy to us. He has no need for such childish toys. As a perfect God who does not constantly fail and kill humans, the way the God of scripture does, He has no need to create a hell, to hide His mistakes. All souls are as perfect as the universe that is around us.
All souls then go to heaven. In this we have no choice. We do have free will in all other things but at death there is only one destination. There is pain and pleasure involved in this but a small price to pay for what looks to be eternal bliss. See you all there. You will know me. I will be the one that went from unbelieving fame to a believing fool.
Regards
DL

So, what are you trying to say in your post or looking for, or are you just making a statement?

I am showing what worked for me. It may work for others.
Other than that I look for any questions. Many have itches that they do not know how to scratch.

Gnosticism may be the best because we question everything. All God's should be judged.

From dust we Came; to dust we shall Return. Surely that is not the same for the return of ideal wealth that claimed to justify our satisified fill for Irresponsible actions. The Irresponsible facts were ignorable through time. (n/s)

Default The Gnosis is never fool to fame.

That is reserved for the clocked time of virtual containment. So the irresponsible actions of our lives can be overcome by fame. That is also fact. So what's the dofference; and besides I still have a week till Ash Wednesday. Yes, no I am not a Gnostic. But I'd sooner be a positivist than an agnostic.

Why are you showing what worked for you and then dismssing any other means of reaching the same end? That sounds like fundamentalism to me. Perhaps you have no yet arrived.

Perhaps you could also define "mysticism" for me, but I have had many experiences that would probably fall in that category and they were critical to my awakening. You are correct that they are not necessary in the highest realms - where all function as individual Gods within the larger whole (what some mythologies might call the Kingdom of Heaven), but none (or perhaps a dozen or so) on this primitive backwater of the universe can claim to be operating at the highest realms.

Mysticism is, in the end, simply a mastery of physics. Yahweh demonstrated a very high level of physics mastery and was killed by the conservative institutions of the day and eventually (over centuries) was perceived as a God by those who could only see his works as magic and miracles.

Who knows? Perhaps he came to us from a far more evolved civilization on some other planet where such actions are common place. If such a person came today, we would certainly believe he came from heaven and turn him into a God as well.
