Forget about the argument if he exists or not. If you found out tomorrow that without any doubt that there definitely was no higher power/being would you still go to church/synagogue/mosque?If so,why? Please don't try to convince me of existence,we are just talking hypothetical.

For me it would be just like today. I get up and go to work. There is nothing new as I made that decision many years ago and there is no temple on Friday and no church on weekends. I live in a no wasted time zone where religion comes into play.

If God doesn't exist we wouldn't be having this forum at all.. The whole universe would not exist.

G-d is Jewish God. So what exactly is your question?

If it was proven there was no g-d(no matter what religion) would you still go to religious services and follow the guidance of a holy book?

How do you know a being put us here? Maybe the earth,sun,etc...existed on their own and with the change in weather,temperatures,etc... creatures were created from bugs, and fish like creatures and eventually through many years evolved into humans.

Human lies are easily recognizable.

Some people say they have been adopted by aliens and released back -- I guess it can not be proven one way or the other. But, can you recognize that is a human lie?

Some say there is a God, he created a woman from the rib of a man. Can you recognize it?

To answer your question: I am not a religious question, so it does not apply to me. However, to many religious people, whether God exists or not does not matter, they will still do whatever they do.

This is an old saying that I go by:

I would rather live my life believing in God and to die and find out that He does not exist and lose nothing, than to live my life not believing in God and die and find out that He does exist and lose everything.
