Anything (including a 7 year old thread) that robs fire-and-brimstone preachers of their flames is fine by me! Not to mention those lovely Jack Chick tracts.

The moral? Irving should have listened to Cathy (or Cathy should have just picked up the phone):

Even wicked sinner Satan will be 'destroyed forever' by Jesus - Hebrews 2:14 B
The fires in the 'pit' were sparked by spontaneous combustion, which is a well known phenomenon. Decaying organic material produces heat, and the material ignites. The fires in the 'pit' were always burning, thus the 'eternal fire'. This is nothing more than common sense.

Criminals who were executed/killed/died, rather than being given a 'decent burial', were often simply discarded in the dump where they would be incinerated in the 'eternal fires'.

It is very simple- you broke the law, you went into the 'pit' to be consumed by the 'eternal fire'. And that is how a basic, common practice morphs into a mythological horror story.

Not merely a resurrection of a long-dead thread, but by an alias that has been inactive for more than two years. And not just one, but two threads of a similar nature, revived by him/her/it.

Curiouser and curiouser.

I witness the eternal pure white light of Christ , and it had No color like flammable gasses and liquids will burn with carbon and even pure oxygen burns reddish yellow...... the only revelation I ever got from Jesus Holy spirit on people who pass without God is that their unprotected soul will die which are the memories of life , but the spirit will continue to exist , and this spirit will know a little bit of its existence which is the horror .....
