They are either one gender or the other, with extra body parts. They should live as the gender they are born with.
Hermaphroditism is not nearly that cut and dried. Do some reading on it. There are hermaphrodites who are most definitely not "either one gender or the other". Not only that, but it's pretty pompous to tell someone else how they should live their life. Live and let live, let each man and woman find their own truth and their own path to enlightenment and peace.

You might want to do a little research on this. There are also people born with neither female nor male reproductive parts.
From what I've read, and I also knew one "hermaphrodite", they do self identify with one gender. But if a hermaphrodite has a penis and ovaries, and undergoes surgery to remove the penis because she feels that her gender identity is female, the fundamentalists will scream about that too.
What it all boils down to is that not every human is born a perfect, heterosexual being.

People who try to make sense of the Bible and foist their own agendas on others make all sorts of mistakes.
In many cultures hermaphrodites are viewed as having significantly stronger spiritual powers as they are seen as able to access both the masculine and feminine aspects of God, of life, of spirit. Many cultures hold hermaphrodites in reverence and give them high spiritual jobs, status, tasks, duties, and standing.
And hermaphrodite has nothing to do with being gay or straight.
It is a biological description of someone possessing both male and female organs.
Nothing to do at all with sexual orientation.
Where do they fit into the "No, people are not born gay/Yes, people are born gay" argument?
Why exactly would God create such people considering the bible says God created both male and female and not some combination?
Being born with a penis doesn't have anything to do with being gay.
Being born with a vagina doesn't either.
So being born with both wouldn't make you or not make you gay.
That's ridiculous.
The hermaphrodite that wants to honor God will seek His wisdom on it and live their lives as directed by the Holy Spirit....as a man(sexually), as a woman(sexually), or a life of celibacy.
Whether you or I think that's fair or rational or not is irrelevant, it would be between that Creation and the Creator....since we don't have a clear, concise, simple biblical answer (as we do for homosexuals, adulterers, and gluttons), then this God seeking individual would follow Christ's leading and serve Him faithfully with their lives.
However every human being is born a perfect godly creation.
God doesn't make mistakes.
If god existed, then he is most certainly making mistakes. It is impossible to make the claim that every human being is a "perfect godly creation". By doing so, the implication then is that god makes handicapped people that way on purpose, causing endless suffering as a result.
No, if by some stretch of the imagination a god exists, he (or she) either stands back and lets things happen without intervention, or he's one really sadistic entity. If I believed in a deity, I'd sure hope for the former rather than the latter, though even that would suggest an uncaring god. I would much rather he's uncaring than actively torturing us.

At a soul level we choose to be born. No one is born by accident. God doesn't make anyone do anything, including being born. We have free will. We come into life as a choice. We choose to be born, we choose our parents, we choose our ethnicity and culture, we choose the country and circumstances we are born into.
No one can know, except that person and God, what that person's soul agenda is, their blueprint for coming into this life. But the life circumstances each one of us choose are selected specifically, like an individualized study plan tailor-made to suit what that soul hopes to accomplish in this given lifetime.
