Semper Fi does translate as
"duty first"

as in the words of the USMC Marine Hymn:
"first to fight for right and freedom
later to keep our honor clean"

Or as in the Gospel of John:
"the truth will make us free"
Or as sung in the Battle Hymn of the Republic:
"Glory glory hallalujah
HIS truth is marching on".

"Burgers before bros".
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

But I could be wrong.
We vote but GOD does decide.

No, Semper Fi translates to always faithful.

Dang, anyone who went through either "The Island" or "Diego" would certainly know that "Semper Fi" is the shortened form of "Semper Fidelis" "always faithful" the motto of the United States Marine Corps.

Actually, Semper Fi means
"loyalty up, loyalty down".
But loyalty onto whom?
Loyalty onto the Pope of Rome or the Queen of England or nepotism?
Unfortunately, foreigner americans such as the entire American Bar Association of judges and lawmakers and law schools,

(particularly Ivy League, fraternity and sorority, democrat and republican, diploma mills such as Yale and Harvard),

do know zero about President George Washington and the Federalist Papers.
Which is why McCain took a dive in the last election and lost on purpose,
so he would not have to represent the foreigner americans and the ten trillion dollar national debt they created in pipe dreams.
It was either that or the Hemlock Society.
You all are wrong and the Marine Hymn is right:
"first to fight for right and freedom",
semper fi..
