Otherwise, this response, no offense, is full of holes. If everything you are saying is true then most people will go to Heaven, and that's just not so according to fundamental beliefs.
All people would go to heaven if they listened to God and lived the way that He told them too. But sorry to say that is not going to happen, because God said not everyone will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. People choose to go to Hell by their actions. Know one makes you do anything. We have free will and people have the free will to choose to follow satan and go to hell.

WE have a choice to live for God or live for satan. Most people say that they are not living for satan, but God says that if we are not living for Him or keeping His commandments we are His enemies. I hope that what ever issue that you have with God is evenly settled.

If you compare the OT to the NT then GOD CHANGED! Or was Jesus not really god?! Somethings fishy about that.

Oh I beg differ my good man. OT God: mean, vengeful, unloving, willing to smite any who displeased him (whether they deserved it or not). NT God: Patient, loving, good natured, forgiving etc...

If that's your explanation for why the bible is so inconsistent with its portrayal of God between the OT and NT, then can you really take the bible literally? I mean, if God doesn't change, then the bible can't be right, since it's obvious that Yahweh is practically a polar opposite of Jesus.

Nope He is the same unchanging God, but unless you know Him, but you have to know Him to understand that.

That's a generic answer. I think that if all those stories in the OT are actual events that they more or less were just what all those people THOUGHT god was telling them to do. Ya know if god told someone today to kill an entire group of people and animals that they would be mentally institutionalized. I've heard people say "oh god would NEVER tell someone to kill another person!" HUH!??? Guess they never read the OT!

I AGREE. HOw can someone say that God changes when they don't even know who He is. All people have to do is read the bible and they will relize that the people who died it was because of their bad and sinful actions. But people would rather blame everything on God, as if He is responsible for our bad actions.

We have free will and we have the choice to do what ever we want to do. God does not make us sin, we do that on our own, but people want to blame God for their own stupid behavior.

YES! It's mind boggling to me when people say all these things about how mean God is, and they don't have a clue as to who He is or what He is like. That's like me saying a stranger on the street is mean, I don't know them so could I possibly say what they are like?
