Problem is, even "moderate" muslims tend to do stuff like beheading their wives in TV studios.

I think the actions of those who are doing things in the name of Christianity, who claim to be Christian, distract from the peaceful true Christians who refuse to get involved in world politics.

You can recognize them by their actions and integrity

Does the idea and/or obsession with the idea that madness in the world then or now are all apart of "prophecy being fulfilled" trump any desire to speak out against nutcase Christians?

Am I the only one that didn't understand this sentence? I never claimed to be the sharpest tool in the shed, but I'm no dummy. Can you rephrase that?

Well for one thing, the laws telling people to kill other people (mainly women and children) were not all dealing with sex. And another thing, where in the OT does it say that it was God's desire for a man to have one wife?

Could you provide examples for us, where the Bible states that mainly women and children were to be killed for non sexual crimes?

Also, God made Adam and Eve, He did not make numerous wives for Adam. And from the very first Book in the Bible, God had already set the standard. And anywhere in the Old Testament where we see a husband with more than one wife, this arrangement was never approved by God. The New Testament really brought the one husband one wife home to us. Yet the Old Testament clearly supported that belief.

You give us the impression Campbell that you know the bible, according to you better that almost anyone, but you ask for an example of women and children killed for non sexual crimes. You know very well that "God" ordered the deaths of thousands, sometimes for no other reason than that they didn't believe in him...He also condoned rape and theft as you know.

Sanspeur, there are reasons I ask for such examples which are not obvious to you. Could you show us were God condoned rape and theft?
