Interestingly, I do not see most religions attracting anybody anymore. But maybe that's because of where I live in the E.U.

But even in the United States I don't see a big surge anymore, especially with all those fallen celebrity Icons over the last cuople of years. I think most, not all, but most of the believer crowd are very apathetic. This could also be said of those who wish not to believe. Apathy is the description of the day for much of our world.

Personally, I'd like to see religions attracting no ones -- not anti-religion human rights violations -- people voluntarily denounce religions.

But, obviously, there are plenty of religions around the world. If everyone realizes the enticing motivations are not good ones, is that a good factor in your opinion?

Power (and organised religion can be powerful) always attracts the corruptible.

How can you be stupid while being honest?
And how does honesty make you weak?
The foundation of strength can only be the truth.
Otherwise you're building your powerbase on quicksand.

This is not true strength; this is only power through obedience/dogma acquired by dishonesty.
This way you do not build on strength and honesty, instead you keep people weak through lies & propaganda.
