It must be odd to live one's life constantly looking forward to a potential future and ignoring the present, hoping for the utter destruction of the world and not concerning oneself with ending poverty or building systems that work or ending abortion or ending war.... It's always just an after thought or part of a mission.
I don't think Christ would have wanted anything like that. In fact, immersing oneself in the present is precisely what mastery requires.

They don't. I was just commenting on your question, not answering it. I never claimed it was the end times. I, personally, think it's just the end of an age (as many cultures have predicted) and the dawn of a new, better one.
