Good for you. Then you never have to think a day in your life. A book will tell you all you ever need to know.

In the meantime, I'll be trying to embody what Christ taught us all: that we all can be as he was.

It's incredible how true that proves to be because, as we all know, true masters create other masters, not servants.

It must be odd to live one's life constantly looking forward to a potential future and ignoring the present, hoping for the utter destruction of the world and not concerning oneself with ending poverty or building systems that work or ending abortion or ending war.... It's always just an after thought or part of a mission.

I don't think Christ would have wanted anything like that. In fact, immersing oneself in the present is precisely what mastery requires.

How do any of those thing support a conclusion that these are the last days, or this is the end times?

They don't. I was just commenting on your question, not answering it. I never claimed it was the end times. I, personally, think it's just the end of an age (as many cultures have predicted) and the dawn of a new, better one.
