The least religious countires in the world are some of the most peaceful. Sweden, Japan, Norway, Denmark.

People actually do okay without religion.

this has been a truism absent a detailed knowledge of the history of these countries.

with a failing economy on a global scale the social structures supposedly based on solid rationality may not hold up, however.

it is only the (so-called) elites of these as well as other countries closing ranks, internationally.

actual observations.
