I don't think MrsMountains actually thinks that the beast and the dragon will actually be a beast and a dragon. I think she may have been exibiting a bit of sarcasm, which I am totally a stranger to.

Well St. Ronnie Raygun was supposed to have fulfilled this "prophesy" - St George Bush is the current antichrist and I am sure the spinners will have a antichrist 3.0 by 2009 in the form of Rahm Emmanuel or Barrack Obama or both.

Well if it is a beast then it MUST come out of the sea as you folk take the lake of fire as literal too. Symbolically it can mean many things which is what Revelation is a book of symbols and specifically written to seven churches that no longer exist.
How is shortly come to pass mean ±2000 years and specifically what would that have meant to the seven churches were it a prophesy of 2008 something?
