Is it really true that only 144,000 people are able to enter the Kingdom of Heaven?
I've always believed that those who gets to go to Heaven are the ones who have accepted Christ as their saviours and them having repent for our sins and that God loves each and every one of us unconditionally.
The 144000 of Rev 7 are virgin men from the 12 Tribes of Biblical Israel* who are tasked by God for a specific mission. They will be called to Jerusalem where they are to be sealed with the name of God on their foreheads by an angel. This event will take place before the Great Tribulation and it fulfills the prophecy of the Pentecost... one of the 7 Feasts of the Lord.
(*12 Tribes are the modern nations of Great Britain & Commonwealth: Canada, Australia, N.Z.; USA, Western Europe, Scandinavian nations , and Israel.)
The sealing of the 144000 is to protect them from the cataclysm that will come to earth in the end time and from the persecution by the minions of the Antichrist. Their mission is to go out, 2x2...in pairs, as Witnesses to proclaim the messages of the 3 angels in Rev 14...
1. To fear the Lord and proclaim the Gospel to all corners of the World... thus fulfilling the prophecy that the Gospel will be preached to all nations before the end comes.
2. To warn that destruction is coming to "Babylon"... and for God's people to flee so as not to partake in her judgment. "Mystery Babylon" is the richest and most powerful nation on earth in the end time.
3. To warn against worshiping and taking the Mark of the Antichrist.

No, I don't believe so.

I'm not a universalist, but darned near so. I believe that the vast majority of humanity will be allowed into Heaven, but then I also don't believe that Heaven is a one-size-fits-all kind of place. I believe that there will be differing rewards or degrees of glory given to people depending upon the way in which they lived their lives.
that is a maximum figure when we really begin to look hard at each other it probably will get down to you and me, and i got serious doubts about me.
better get the asbestos suit now.
I also remember reading the passages in the Bible about the 144,000 people and found it confusing. I can't say that I ever made any sense out of it but I don't think it was saying that this was the exact number of tickets to heaven. That's the problem when you're reading translated text from a culture complete different than the one you happen to be living in, it just doesn't make any sense and even believers argue among themselves about what it really means.

Here we go again with this...
So you're saying that anyone who isn't a Christian doesn't go to heaven? You better be right--or you're in for a nasty surprise.

just for your lack of faith you are now # 144,001.
The 144k is a heresy of the Jehovah's witnesses. There will be more in heaven than them.
