You're reaching back into ancient history to prove your point about religion today? You're stretching things a bit. Also, you have a book on "suspected materials in the Vatican library"? Oooooooo, I can probably find a book on suspected proof the US government is hiding UFOs and has diplomats to their planets as well as to the nation of Yeti and bigfoot. The fact that members of one faith destroyed religious writings of another faith or demonination doesn't prove your point. Scientology has tried for decades to keep it's core religious writings secret from the public and from low ranking members of the religion. No other religion has ever done this.

Well you know the great atheists have been tried and many have escaped justice (by the way I am not sympathetic to scientology just amused by the self righteousness, especially of the enlightened anti-religionists). The lie ridden show trials in the ol' atheistic Soviet state, boy did that Mao get away with mass murder (not even a fine), not to mention Stalin or even Lenin when he starved millions and stole all that money with his NEP rip off, or how about the millions sent to labor camps and not paid a living wage for their labor (in a proletariat state!) under that atheistic humanist movement. They seem to be able to get some SE Asia communist mass killers though-I don't know if they have been tried yet. If one bothers, and it really seems that few today know how to read, and looks at the history of the atheistic Marxist movements one will find a lot there that would be worthy of a trial and wonder at such a mass deluding of millions.

Some found nations whose laws allowed them to publish their writings online without fear of expensive lawsuits and that's how we come to know the truth about their "religious" writings. Southpark did an episode on the subject and gave a very good brief statement on what Scientologist believe,...once they get past a certain level of brain washing. Other religions give their religious writings to any who are interested in their faiths. Scientology wanted to hold back on these writings until you got brainwashed and then they revealed the "truth" to you.
You need to go back to the 1500 and 1600 when the Catholic Church killed people for translating the Bible into English, French, or German. The goal was to keep the works in Latin so the uneducated could not read/understand the works for themselves. This would link the foundation of the Christian faith to the same thing you are slandering the Scientologist for doing. Personally I think they all should be on trial in France and everywhere else.
