Yes, you are sorry.

As for pushing me anywhere, you flatter yourself (as usual).

Every point you attempted to make has been refuted while you flip flopped on your statements, so maybe you should just stop before embarrassing yourself further.

You are more than welcome to conclude what ever you CHOOSE.

It's a simple yes or no question. I didn't say anything about my beliefs or my conclusions. The question is whether or not there is independent verification of Jesus' existence. It shouldn't be that hard to answer - either there is or there isn't.

lol.....talk about transparent, predictable ploy/defense.

for the record, i rarely venture into the muck and mire of another's creation, but....

i would hardly categorize arjay51's responses to you as "over the edge" emotional reaction of any kind, which is what you are now implying with your diversion tactics. gosh the mind's capacity for denial, avoidance, rationalization, justification continually floors me, and yet doesn't surprise me in the least anymore.

emotional suppression/repression much, mr. hiball??? a pretty thin veneer you're holding up in front of you there. but ya know.....i feel certain i can say these things to you and you won't take my comments personally or anything, since you are so firm in your position that there's "no chance of you being wrong".....

it's my personal experience that equipoise is it's own reward, don't you agree?

Umm... This is pointless.
I saw this thread - was honestly curious as to the answer, have even asked my husband this same question. I thought I would check on here and see if there was independent evidence - and the answer I get is "Yes. Because I said so."
Pointless.

So...Just what did you expect to hear? Some scientist has dug up remains of Jesus and confirmed his DNA?

Pointless to say the least.

Geez - is this how you treat everyone that asks a question? I don't know that much about these things. I didn't know if there were other books in existence that mentioned Jesus or if he was mentioned by any historians of the time. I'm ignorant on the subject and was curious as to if any such writings existed. It really doesn't make any difference to me either way - I was just curious.
When people ask me questions - I usually just answer them. That's how we learn - we ask questions.
