A man that has made his peace with God has little to worry about .
It those that choose to remain in rebellion that have something to worry about.
Jesus said, if part of your body offends you, cut it off because it is better to enter into eternity maimed or blind, then to enter hell, whole.
Jesus own body bear the scars and holes of his crucifixion .
If you're still making arguments and excuses about scriptures, you not seeking God, your looking to justify your excuses.
The first thing Adam did after being caught at sin, was to blame God for Eve, rather than take responsibility for himself .
She didn't force him, nor trick him, he knew what he was doing.
He could have said no, and chose to obey God.

Um...there was no real Adam, nor a fashioned-from-Adam Eve.

It's a STORY folks! A fine one. An imaginative, creative, fraught-with-symbolism STORY!

We now resume regular programming...

those that came before god were supposed to be physically perfect or as much as possible.
if you have physical disabilities you are less than physically perfect.
your argument has also been applied to military service and law enforcement service.
what has gay got to do with the subject at hand?

June's just not getting what the big deal is here. For those who are believers in the bible, and thereby accept Jesus as the Son of God, did he not cure those who had disabilities on occasion as is cited in the NT?

As well, there is something to be said about reading a book such as the bible with the cultural context within it was written (especially the OT) in mind.

Seems simple to June.....

BIBLE BASED MORALITY
That Law is restricted to the Aaronic priesthood..Not to the whole of Israel...It is like having specifications to be a soldier, one cannot be handicapped...

It is not difficult to grasp why a one legged person would be disqualified for military service.

What would be Yahweh's reason for not wanting any flat nosed priests?

It's supposed to be a type and shadow of Jesus who was perfect. It's like when they brought a lamb for sacrifice, it was supposed to be perfect, without any blemishes. Same thing.
