How intelligent could the designer have been if he'd be disgusted with creation that he'd have to send HIMSELF back here to die for his creation so that he supposedly didn't have to send SOME of them to hell for being bad little children??? All the while KNOWING this from the beginning.

Ultimately it brings him glory when he shows mercy by saving us...or it shows his holiness when he casts the rest into the fire.

You've got a choice which side you wind up on.

How about that, I've got a choice, if that's the case I would choose door number three, choose not to believe in Christianity...

Nightflight...I can't rep you again, but I wanted to!

I was looking for that exact same clip last week when responding to one of kdbrich's famous "Evolution question of the day (and then I'll ramble on and on about how evolution is wrong) threads.

Somebody had made the point that since the Earth was so well suited to life (in particular, human life) it MUST have been designed (by the Christian God no less...who else, right??.

Well, duh...yeah, the Earth DOES seem particularly well suited for life for most of us because that just happens to be our frame of reference...ALL we know as living beings is based on how we sense and respond to the physical environment of Earth...every thing we have known, know now, and will know in the future will be in the context of us sitting on this planet. Kinda tough for us to raise our consciousness beyond what is going on right in front of us...

Your choice.

And God is going to be glorified by you being punished for your choice.

There you go folks, the end-game for Christians: Take the carrot (heaven) or get the stick (hell)...some choice!

Also, this thread is entitled "Intelligent Design"...care to keep the prostelyzing to a minimum and stick to the topic at hand?
