Well, look at it this way: regardless of who inspired the Bible, it was written by human beings. That should tell you everything you need to know.

To answer 'No' the the OP shows reliance on blind faith, not critical thinking.

As one poster pointed out, google it and you will find many references to the myriad of contradictions in the bible.

I began to find them while in confirmation class but was not mature or confident enough in myself to ask the proper questions. So, I was confirmed, something I have regretted ever since because it was a lie.

Non-sequitur. Neither Darwin or evolution attempt to describe the origin of life. They describe how life diversifies. It's amazing how many times you fundies have to be told that. Did any of you actually go to school (no, your parents basement and their creationist pop-up books don't count)???

Yes, I've actually read the Bible cover-to-cover. I used to be a Christian, but am no longer so -- which is typical when you actually read that thing.

The question isn't whether or not they exist, because the Bible is rife with falsehoods, the question is why and does it matter?
