You are correct.. helicopters do not fly high enough to require oxygen masks.

If so, what you are trying to shoehorn into being a religion will never qualify.

As to your ascertion that atheism is a religion, have you read the numerous post on the subject on these boards? Having trouble comprehending them?

Perhaps it is your "religion" to practice your religious bigotry by denying anything that makes you think. Not to mention, you seem to insist on defining terms by only your definition without regard for the truth. Are you a religious liar?

The answer is obvious.
No, being religious does not require association with the supernatural or diety. Being religious only requires devotion. There are people who are religious about the concept of global warming.

I have ready hundreds of posts on these boards with regard to athiesm. The practice of atheism associates itself with diety (purports the non-existence of God) as does agnosticism (doubt or question). I don't have any bigotry towards any faction. As far as I am concerned, people are free to believe whatever they'd like. Their opinions are certainly as valid as my own. We will see who is correct in the end.

Is not playing football a sport?

Again, Athiesm is the absence of religion, not A religion.

Also, when people speak of religion, it is normally assumed that deity is, indeed involved unless otherwise mentioned in the conversation.

Yes, I certainly do see the problem! But, you’ll get no where with those so heavily deluded by blind faith in their “perfect” and “holy” book. Nothing that “god” commands or allows will offend them, even if their “god” violates its own rules. But this is their right to believe as they will. The rub comes when they passionately try to force their Dogmas on others via fear or political coercion.

They do not yet use oxygen masks! The prophet was looking into the future and that can still be our future. We have not seen this war that he is refering to yet.

So one could say, quite truthfully, that your version of religion is to be religious about religion.

That, along with defining your own terms to justify yourself without regard to what the truth is.

Some would recommend that you seek help.

Oh jeez! Now you are redefing your propcecy again to meet current standards. First you intimate that it has come to pass, then when shown how wrong you are, redefine it to the future and still maintain its truth and fulfillment (while admitting it has not yet happened!).

Can you even comprehend how this makes your claims look to anyone who can think for themselves?

The pat answer to every "prophesy" that cannot be shoehorned into some past or present event. Again, prohpesy requires a perfectly linear time concept, something that not everyone holds to. Substantiate linear time, and then you can discuss prophesy.

We are taking about Deities. Zeus predates both your Jehovah and your Christ. The Greco-Roman religions hold just as much "truth" as the Abrahamics, indeed quite a bit more as they are much older.
