Or perhaps it was Zeus and he is really pissed that you aren't seeing and sharing the truth that HE is real..

I meant that in sarcasm, although medication may actually be the answer on how to put religion to rest.

I'm guessing that 2000 years ago, people like me were asking people like you the exact same question...

So in addition to providing irrefutable proof, your god could provide said proof every 5 years. Still doesn't seem like a tall order for a GOD, does it?

I think you'll still find a reason to disbelieve.

Actually, I need a reason to believe, people don't need reasons to not believe something.

Hell there are a million good reasons to disbelieve, and not one single good reason to believe.

I was stating that when God tells them something they could not have figured out on their own. Killing a family is something even good people could probably figure out how to do, good people watch cop shows, and it's obviously an evil.

Love of God and Love of Neighbor is the true basis/core of Christianity. If someone says God told them to do something that helped another human being, and to do this God gave them information they could not possibly have known, then I'd be inclined to believe it could be from God. As they believe it's from God I would be supportive of them.

There are people now, including degreed "professionals" who still believe the earth is only 6000 years old and that their bible is infallable and correct.

I seriosuly doubt education will cause them much concern.

And you pretend to know the will of your god?

What if Jehovah told that person to kill his family?

Remember, according to your scriptures, your god has no problem killing at all.
