You don't "allow" anything. Here, we've taken the power from the corrupt and tyrannical hands of the religulous and put them in their place.
WE established this secular nation and WE allow YOU to keep your ridiculous beliefs.
This will eventually happen in the Middle Eastern countries currently suffering under the cancer of religion. Bastille Day is coming...

Don't flatter yourself. The Constitution allows both of us to do our thing.

Indeed it does.. and it was written by US, allowing YOU to do your thing. If it were a religious document authored by Xians and inspired by The Babel, it certainly would NOT contain any of the freedoms we enjoy.
Flattery indeed! If you want flattery, read Xian revisionist history.

Actually, it was the opposite. Folks in the old country didn't have much choice about religion. You have the freedom to not practice because our forefathers didn't like people telling them how to worship, or whether they even had to.

You have taken it from the corrupt religious, and for some reason you think Atheist are not corrupt? You think Atheist can run this world, without the foolishness that the religious have used?
Man you don't know human nature. Wake up and see the real, both the religious and the Atheist have messed this world up.
Peace.

No, I didn't think so. Nobody follows the old testament laws, at least not in America.

Or have your new wife stoned in front of the in-laws if you suspect she wasn't a virgin!
Or have the rapist pay the father, of the woman he raped, 50 shekels. Then the rapist must marry the woman and can never divorce her. (Boy is that woman in for a treat!)
Or if you are disrespectful to your parents, you are to be put to death!
These are just a few of the perfect justice laws in the OT that Christians don't want to abide by. I can't imagine why...is it because those laws are no longer believed to be perfect and just?
