I dont feel threatened or have a problem with someone being an atheist....you guys 'could 'even be right. In my church even good people who are non-believers will end up in a level of heaven....and we could be right. If we are both wrong and some on this site are right.....well i guess us and about 90% of the people who have ever lived will be burning together....perhaps they will have marshmellows

i have heard that a person lives in one of two states at every moment of our lives, we are either in a state of "fear" or we are in a state of "love"

i choose love. So no, I do not feel threatened by how anyone else chooses to live their life. My job is to keep the focus on myself, keep my own side of the street clean, and recognize we are all cut from the same cloth, every one of us. We are all in this together, all of us beloved children of a very loving Creator. I build my house on a rock and that keeps me solid.

Besides its entirely out of my hands and none of my business whatsoever.

No, not threatened.

My brother went from agnostic, to atheist recently.

He feels uncomfortable with my beliefs, sometimes hateful, and then distances himself from me for awhile.

He is very comfortable with other atheists, but people with any beliefs in a greater power, God, Jesus, Allah, etc. . . this disturbs him.

Is he threatened? Not sure . . . he is a political activist, wanting equal rights for all . . . except for people who have faith . . . he feels we should be hid in a closet.

When he sneezes, we cannot say God Bless You . . . "He aint' heavy, he's my brother!!" Love him dearly!!!!

I'm a believer and my attitude is to live and let live. Every person is entitled to his/her belief or non-belief and leave it at that. I'm more disturbed by religious zealots who think it is their duty and calling to convert the World. I believe it is God's intention that Christians must bear fruits only by living a righteous life, and keep the 10 Commandments, to serve as an example to the World.

The way I understand the Scriptures, it is God's plan giving man 6000 yrs to rule himself and after that Jesus Christ will return to rule for 1000 yrs. In this 6000 yrs God gave man free reign to do whatever he wants to do, he even let loose Satan to influence the World but only with his permission. At this first go round he only called out a small group, the believers or his Church, for a future mission. They will be resurrected first (and raptured) as saints to rule the World with Jesus Christ for 1000 yrs! This "calling out" is the Spring Harvest.

After the 1000 yrs is finished comes the 2nd resurrection of the rest of mankind... to the Great White Throne Judgment! This is the period for the much bigger Fall Harvest... when billions and billions of humans are resurrected... but still MORTAL.

The "lost" dead will be given the opportunity to know God and his ways for the first time. They are the babies and children who died young, the aborted, the retarded, the insane, the isolated, etc., will be given their first opportunity to hear the Gospel and make the decision to accept (or not) Christ as their personal Savior. Finally comes the Judgment when everyone will face God to be judged according to their works. The wicked will be cast into the Lake of Fire and die a second and FINAL death. Satan and the fallen angels will be tormented in the lake of Fire since they are immortal. The rest of mankind who are saved will be given eternal life and become members of the God Family. They will live in joy, peace, and love in the NEW EARTH forever. The 6000 yrs of strife in contrast to the 1000 yrs of peace under God will serve as a lesson, a memorial, for all eternity.
