You're not making a whole lot of sense today. First of all, I hope you'll agree with me that chickens can't fly. I don't recall ever looking up and seeing a flock of chickens cruising by. They obviously have wings but their body weight is far too great for those wings to be of any use. Are you actually saying that you don't know that human beings breed animals to acheive certain physical characteristics? Even your fellow creationists are going to be chuckling about that. Mankind has been breeding various kinds of plants and animals for thousands of years. At one point the ancestors of todays chickens were wild birds that were tamed and bred and of course they could fly. What else would the wings be for? I suppose you're going to tell me that God said "Behold, I have created the chicken and it is good. Let Col. Sanders go forth and feed the multitudes!"
2 things:

1-chickens are fully capable of flying, albeit for short distances.

and

2-(the real point I was making) is that 'breeded' isn't a word, since you're questioning intelligence.

so if you approach all this evolutionists information with the same regard you approach these posts, by inventing words and denying what any back-woods farmer could attest too....well....nuff said for me...

I don't really think that makes sense. I said choose because the people did choose what they would do or not do which happened to be sinful. God did know but He had to let them choose for themselves. Is there an echo in here??

I don't participate on these religious threads b/c I'm struggling with my beliefs. I participate to explain how I feel on the subject.

I do understand. What I want is for you to understand.

Okay, so God knew... but if he knew, then there wasn't any choice! It was some kind of predetermined something! How can there be any choice when someone already knows what's going to happen!!!

Okay, sorry. :deep breath :

Adam and Eve did not know of good and evil. They were innocent. They couldn't have known that the "talking snake" was lying to them. But if God is all knowing, and knew that they would have believed the serpent, why did God not stop the serpent? Why the "test" if He knew the outcome?

If God knows what we will do before it happens, what good is Free Will?

Yes they were innocent until they disobeyed God, He told them not to eat the fruit. Eve was deceived by the devil, she listened to his lies instead of listening to God, when we do that there are always consequences. The devil wants us to question God and think "did God say that". And since God is all knowing and knew this would happen He provided a way out...Jesus. We have free will because God does not want robots He wants us to love Him because we want to.
I think you've already made up your mind not to believe just as I have made up mine to believe.[/QUOTE]

Do you believe these are stories/fables, or do you really believe those events took place?

This sentiment keeps getting reguritated and we are trying to suply you with answers but it just keeps on going! Sometimes it's just a matter of faith! If you're looking at Christianity from strictly a worldly and scientific standpoint you will never understand it. I'll say it once more with ILNC ringing in my ears: Spiritiul Intelligence has NOTHING to do with worldy knowledge and you will never gain it through the world.

I do find that those who are not Christians generally tend to have a better sense of humor! Christians seem to get offended so easily that I think it chews away at their funny bone. And you guys prove my point! Thanks!
