I would differ with you on salvation (poorly named), Wood . . . it is a species level issue. The only sacrifice involved was having to endure the ignorance, barbarity and savagery of the humans who scourged and crucified Him. No greater love . . . and all that. The relevant accomplishment was possessing a consciousness of such pure unconditional agape love (what is also called Maitri) that even such horrendous treatment and agonizing death could not diminish it. Christ's single pure human consciousness is sufficient for our entire species to have the required connection to God's consciousness though harmonic resonance with His love for us all.
I see this as just you and I, as humans, differing a little over the Mechanics.
, unless I am misreading, I think overall we are in agreement.

Will leave the "theological" & "dogma" answers to others here, but within the whole UFO issue as regards to religion, it has always struck me as odd, that any culture presumably older and much more sophisticated than ours, should behave in such a primitive and apparently "un-evolved" way (e.g., experiments on humans, cattle mutilations, abductions, radioactive leftovers from landings, etc.)!
Especially since even humans have come along farther than that! So if they simply have a totally different ethical system than ours, then we would really need to rethink our absolute notions of God, good vs evil, spirituality, morality, and the Divine, within the whole universe!
