I'm a nihilist, I'll own up to that much.

Are you implying that a nihilist must necessarily be lazy and 'paint-by-numbers?' Nihilism could easily be said to promote laziness (among other things), but arriving at nihilism is usually the product of a style of thinking that would perhaps be diametrically opposed to 'painting by numbers'. There is no nihilist creed, so a 'paint-by-numbers nihilist' would strike me as an oxymoron. Assuming I understand this antiquated term correctly, that is.
No. I meant that, for a nihilist, you are lazy. Less a deep examiner of life and more of a tedious "Everything is baloney because I say it is" kind of nihilist in a transparent attempt to appear more discerning and worldly. Dude, you might as well be wearing a beret and puffing away on a Gauloises in a coffee shop right off campus in a ploy to wow the coeds.

While I appreciate the desire to ask this question, it doesn't really have anything to do with religion or spirituality.
