Can someone please tell me in detail what a normal day in an evangelistic church is like?

Thanks Justme... I figured that, but I really need to know this... it's for a paper I am writing. I never actually made it to the church because I was sick.

Help please!

Watch McLean Bible Church -- their services are on the internet. Sermon Archives (Resources)

It will give you somewhat of an idea but not the whole picture b/c you'll miss out on the cafeteria, the bookstore, the welcome room, the smiling greeters, the friendly faces, the helpful volunteers in the nursery, the symphony orchestra, the plethora of support groups, the missions programs and trips, the edgy young adult church service, etc., etc.

The self-righteousness, intolerance and hypocrisy, historical revisionism, the bigotry and hate-mongering, the brainwashing (especially of children) , the anti-science & anti-intellectual propaganda...

It's filled with devotion for something they believe in. No further detail unless you're serious about the project.

And last thing you wanna hear is the moronic babble of the hecklers sitting outside of it. They just get riled up like school girls as you can see

It depends on the church....Some of them seem to me to be outright lunacy, but not all.

Go to one and see for yourself.

If you are educated about religion, ask your questions. Observe.

I've only seen one church throw someone off of their property, that'd be the Mormon temple.
